Christian Nesvadba was born in 1977 in Vienna, into a family with an artistic heritage spanning several generations. In the regular school system his talent for drawing was soon recognized by his teachers and he was transferred to a school specializing in drawing and engineering. That, however, was too technical for the young man and he decided to devote himself to a more artistic career. His first paintings were done on his father’s easel, but while in drawing he could learn a great deal from his father, in the color sense he very soon developed his own style, bold and fresh and vibrant.
Christian Nesvadba loves flowers. He travels extensively and is an ardent photographer. His view of flowers is a very personal one, it is not so much the exact botanical form, it is the color, sometimes the explosion of colors that expresses in his paintings. He has won numerous prestigious awards, exhibited in many galleries and is collected worldwide.
