Gerhard Nesvadba was born in 1941 in Ober-Ramstadt, Sessen, Germany.
1958 Conclusion of a commercial education and beginning of painting as an independently thinking artist.
1962 Settled down as a self-employed and independent painter and illustrator. Gerhard got married and had four children.
1968 First participation in an exhibition of a group of artists in Stockholm.
1969 First participation in an exhibition of a group of artists in Gothenburg and Copenhagen.
1970 First participation in an exhibition of a group of artists in Hamburg and Goppingen, the last one together with the well-known Biennale participant Adolf Frohner.
1971 Exhibition in the Marble Hall of the Abbey and the first one man exhibition in the former Galerie Seilerstatte. Purchases by Austrian Federal Ministry for the Arts and Education. Purchases by the famous graphic collection in Albertina, and the Art Promotion Association in Copenhagen.
1971 Scholarship by the Ministry for the Arts, and also an offer for teaching as a Professor of the Arts.
1972 American painter Russel May, came for six weeks for special education and instruction by Mr. Nesvadba.
To present date, Boulevard Fine Art is showing works by Gerhard Nesvadba and his son Christian Nesvadba. Paintings by Gerhard have been in private collections and in the finest galleries in both Europe and the United States.
